Shon Sahota is a highly trained real estate professional with a rare blend of analytical expertise, negotiation skill, and hands-on experience across all asset classes.
Shon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, specializing in Finance, from the University of British Columbia, and further honed his expertise with a Diploma in Urban Land Economics. This combination of finance and real estate-focused education provides Shon with a deep understanding of market trends, property valuation, and strategic investment decision-making.
He began his career as a research analyst at one of British Columbia’s leading commercial real estate firms, where for two years he tracked market trends, analyzed data, and authored influential industry reports. His performance caught the attention of TransLink, who recruited him into a lead acquisition role.
For the next three years, Shon served as the sole Acquisitions Specialist for TransLink’s Investment Properties Portfolio, where he was responsible for acquiring and managing over $300 million in real estate assets. His work spanned diverse asset types, and his reputation as an expert negotiator was built on a proven track record of securing complex, high-value transactions.
In the residential sector, Shon has risen to become one of the top-producing agents at his brokerage—ranked in the top 1%—which is also the largest independently owned real estate office in Western Canada. In 2021, he was named Rookie of the Year out of 1,300 agents across six offices for the highest sales production.
Shon’s approach to real estate is multi-faceted and highly personalized. Unlike traditional team models, he personally manages every step of the process, ensuring precision and quality control from start to finish. He offers a concierge-level service, crafting a unique strategy for every property rather than relying on a cookie-cutter approach. His philosophy is simple: every property deserves its own tailored plan for success.
