Our part of Spain - Almeria - has something for everyone.

Whether you are using your property as a rental, an occasional holiday home, or for living here full-time, there are numerous activities within easy distance which makes living here oh-so-good!

Valle del Este golf                                                       Cortijo Grande                                                         Marina Golf

Golf courses - 4 within 20 minutes of Mojacar, and another 2 within around 30 minutes. They offer different challenges  for all handicaps.

Diving, snorkelling, scuba, fishing, sailing … all  available locally, in and around Vera, Garrucha and Villaricos. Mojacar has a fishing club which has a very good social side too (as does the diving club!)

There are all sorts of sports societies and clubs in the area - football, pool/snooker, bowling (green), cricket, and a ramblers club.

Quad biking and horse riding are also very popular.

Airports – the nearest to Mojacar is Almeria Airport ( around 45 minutes).

Murcia - San Javier airport can be reached in around an hour and a half using the toll road (which currently costs 12.80 euros). There is also another route which will take around 25 minutes longer. (Also, the new airport at Corvera will be operating within a few years)

Alicante airport is approximately 2 hours. Although this sounds a long way, it is an easy 2 hour drive as the roads here are excellent and very rarely congested.

BC Property Finders can supply you with excellent directions from your airport of arrival (well, Mike does the directions, I try them out and I don't get lost ..... and being "geographically challenged" they MUST be good directions!!)
